![]() ![]() Overall, it's not a bad MMO for sure, but it's also not that amazing and it's age has been showing for many years. Good things include questing/story parts, huge world to explore, lotsa things to discover, voice acted quests even small side ones, can level up almost anywhere you want, incentive to go explore/complete different parts of the map even at max level, housing system is pretty cool (though it requires $$$ cash shop if you want to get deep into it) and so on There is a sub but even that doesn't give access to all the post-release content, and personally I hate how the sub dangles bank storage space when managing bank inventory is so god awful for free to play players :/ There is A LOT of content even in the base game, which is great, but if you want to see DLC/expansions then you are going to have to pay a lot to get access to them. Quality of the story varies greatly (some great parts but also a lot of poorly written stuff, latest expansion has been skyrim nostalgia cashing in while the story has been quite meh), absolutely TERRIBLE cash shop (one of the greediest on the MMO scene), issues with class balance/design, pvp is a complete mess (balance, lag, crashes, bugs, so on) especially if u are outside EU/NA and so on though combat being so bad is a big issue seeing as MMO's revolve around their combat :/ĭated visuals, insane spikes in performance due to extremely dated engine, lack of some QoL features due to engine, bugs on bugs on bugs, combat encounters in general (outside of certain instanced content) are way too easy and samey/boring, a lot of quests are just fetch/kill stuff (which some people don't mind, others do) The story and questing is fun, especially if you are into elder scrolls loreīut I will say, the game has many more problems than just combat. People have pointed out how the combat is garbage and animation canceling is bad. /r/GamePhysics - Clips of game physics shining and glitchingĭesign based on /r/FlatBlue created by /u/creesch./r/gaming4gamers - middle ground between purely-for-fun and more serious subreddits./r/GamingLeaksAndRumours - Leaks and Rumors. As ZeniMax has previously noted, the update essentially allows the MMORPG to run natively and fully on the newer PS5 and Xbox XS consoles, or at least it will once the kinks are worked out this morning.
